(Another) Three Random Things

One

I've lost my house keys (shit!).
My mum is going to go crazy if she finds out.
This is the fourth pair I've lost.
They must be around my room somewhere. I dont understand why she gets so angry about it.
Even the last time, she was so not happy.
And even when I tried to explain to her that they'd be found eventually because my name and address were on the keychain, she went even more mental!

God knows why.

Two

I learnt to fry an egg yesterday.
Don't laugh.
I live in a strictly vegetarian household*.
And not that fake type of vegetarian where they still eat eggs and fish.
Proper vegetarian.
It's actually quite easy actually isn't it?
All you have to do is make sure there are no runny/liquidy bits right?

I had always been scared incase I gave myself Salmonella or something.

*My dad and I eat meat, just not in the house. It's complicated.

Three

The weather has been so great today hasn't it?
It's windy, cloudy and cold, and I wasn't being sarcastic.
I like this weather, reminds me of Autumn.
And it's the perfect kind of day to sit inside with a mug of coffee and listen to some great albums.

Which is exactly what I did.
First I listened to the amazing Thom Yorke album again (I can't stop. Thankyou Ferox for bringing it into my life), which was followed by the new Zero 7 album - The Garden, and then Clor's album, and finally The Pipettes.

"Thankyou Ferox"? You mean I got a recycled present?

Humph! Although I gave it to a friend as a birthday present as well.

And don't worry, we'll have you on bacon sandwiches in no time.

The key thing: um, has it occurred to you to put a different address (but one where you are known) on your keys instead? Or maybe just a mobile number?

And the weather; it's fine to me reminded of autumn as long as it goes back to summer soon, rather than segueing straight into it.

Recycled present: :-0 I'd never do that. She just recommended it to me remember, in that post where she ordered me to buy it and listen to it 223 times. I'm almost there.
Did your friend like it? And was this GA?

Soon I'll need to learn how to cook chicken. That's gotta be more dangerous right?

The address thing was a joke. I don't think anyone is actually quite as thick as Hillary de la Fresh Prince. But I hadn't thought of putting a mobile number on them. May do that to this new pair I've had to borrow from my Dad.

Weather: Hmmm, I dunno, I like it. I'm a September person and I like September weather. Come on, who doesn't like going to sleep listening to the wind and rain.

Awww - especially as that Air track has just come on the radio.

Recyc: Oh right, ok. But it was mock indignation anyway.

Yep GA, but I haven't heard much from her, so don't know; imagine so though.

Chicken is easy. 20 minutes per pound (or 25 per 500g) plus 20 for luck, mid-oven on gas mark 5-ish (as it will tell you on the back of the label). If stuffed add extra time for the weight of the stuffing. If feeling adventurous you can try basting it, or just cheat and cook it upside for the first half. Test if cooked by stabbing blade or skewer into lower breast and checking the juices run clear/aren't bloody. Any bacteria are likely to be on the surface, which cook first, so it shouldn't be too bad if you undercook it a bit.

    Address: hoped it was.

Weather: September weather is fine, in September. As for being shushed to sleep, that only means you suddenly wake and sit bolt upright because it's stopped and is eerily quiet.

    Sept person: when's your birthday?

Chicken: And what about curries, fillets, etc. Oh screw it, I'll just get you to teach me then.

Sept person: Tut tut. You should know this.

it felt like fall where i'm from as well (but only because it rained most of the day).

I've been cooking loads since mum left and I don't expect it to change now shes back either. I'm quite the domestic goddess when I want to be; ). Everyone in my house is vegetarian, but we do eat fish and eggs (though I'm slightly allergic to eggs and can only eat them scrambled or omlette-style [there is a very good explaination for that I promise]).

As for the Zero 7 album, I've heard its really great, but I've opted to buy the new Sia (their singer) album. I've heard bits of it and its amazing.

Oh and by the way, you'll be pleased to know I've finally started my Flickr account. Yayayayayay!

Who cooks anything from scratch anymore. Just buy it frozen, and pop it in the microwave!

    Ferox:
I love days like that when you can just be inside.

    IFB:
I'd like to hear that very good explaination some time. It sounds very interesting.
I didn't know Sia had an album, I will have to check that out.
I checked out the Flickr account - hehe, nice name, but not true.
    And one more thing...

OH MY GOD YOU'RE IN LONDON!! I want to be in London!!
    What's it like living there?
    Are you on your own?
    How does it feel?
    Tell me everything!

    Anyhoo:
It's on here in the comments somewhere, but it's September 15th. Google calenderise now :-P

    Rob:
Yeah but fresh is healthy, and cooking is fun (apparently, although I'm yet to actually try).

Azuric, you're insane. I'm not in London. My mum went there for a week last week because of my gran's funeral (she came back on the 11th so you can imagine the airport nightmare). Seriously, read my blog, and all will become clear :).
    You silly boy....
I've not even been officially accepted into King's yet.

OMG its so horribly limbo-ish isn't it?
So did your mum take all of those photos?
