I knew it would happen eventually...
and it finally has...
this household has fallen into disarray.
With everyone except me working now and Dad having had a bad cold recently, everyone is too tired or busy (or lazy) to do anything.
We've all been forced to either learn a few key German phrases or just take a random guess as the Neff microwave/grill/mirror thingy has reset itself and no one can be bothered to set it back to English.
And im being forced to live like a student - no one has done any shopping recently resulting in me having to have castor sugar on my Weetabix this morning and, as someone forgot to do the dishwasher on, i had to eat it with a ladle!

HA! Eating your "Weetabix" w/a Ladel! I love that.

There is something very culturally foreign to me in this post...

    1. What is castor sugar?
    2. what are Weetabix exactly?
    3. What does it mean to "do the dishwater on..."?

Im assuming Castor sugar is some other type of unrefined sugar? Assuming Weetabix is some form of breakfast cerel?

Dishwater on, is that someone forgeting to turn on the dishwasher?

Sorry... too many questions. But I liked it anyway :)

    Hello Rhino!
Yes you are right it is Caster sugar, my appologies for making a spelling mistake. :P

Rob - where does it say dishwater? I didnt make a spelling mistake there. And Weetabix are a breakfast cereal we have here in the UK. :)

You put sugar on Weetabix? Freak. Adorable freak, but freak none the less.

And what will you do when you get to university and don't have the option of using a ladle?

Rob - it's sugar for putting in casters (and no, not those on the bottom of furniture, though you can try if you want), obviously enough.

Ok, so it's grainy sugar, which is between icing and granulated sugar in fineness.
